Happy Easter...

I am liking the idea of using my cards.
They say that we eat, basically,
the same things 
pretty much for every meal
with only a few variations.
So
I think that I need to be less of a "nazi" about
my weight loss and
make it a little more "livable".
I need to remember that every day will not be ideal.
I think that I am going to cut back on the water
a little bit on the days when
I know that I will be spending time with Bradley :)

Becky is usually home on Sundays and Mondays and
sometimes Saturdays so
maybe
I will wait until this weekend to start the water consumption
although....
Jenny and the Kids will be here and
we will be travelling probably so maybe I will wait to
consume all of the water after the 14th of April....
I will think about it :)

my new bird feeder. 
As you can see,
Mrs Squirrel has discovered the hinged lid on the top .
So perfect for easy access :*(
LOL
Hub sad that if the squirrels found it
he was going to take it down.
No birdies yet
but the feeder is still in place outside of my window !!!

Well...


surprise, surprise....
I was not able to follow through
with my plans.
I ended up peeing every 10 minutes
which was not working
with
rocking baby all day.
so
I need to modify.
at least the water intake...
peeing every 10 minutes is
extremely confining.
so
I am regrouping
and
I will do a restart most likely
on Monday.
Alas
as much as I want to control 
my days
it is not in the cards right now.
I did read a very interesting article in Oprah magazine.

She talks about applying "SALVE"

Emotions maybe ???
anyway,
I realized that (again)
There is no self love for this person.
I have to work on that.

Food So Far Today.....

First Day.... This Is The Plan.....


Yesterday
I spent the day preparing for
my new diet plan.
I thought about how I could make it fun and easy
since I will be doing this for at 1+
years.

So I took a look at the food pyramid and
how many portions of the basic foods we ought to
consume every day.
Then
I created easy and palatable meals,
and made something like
"playing cards"
to represent each meal or "thing"
that I want to include
daily.

I decided that as I consume something,
I will move the card representing that item
from the main "pack" to
a designated
envelope.
That way I can see what I can choose from
throughout the day.
